Bangkok Post – Planetarium marks 60th year for Children’s Day

This Saturday, many museums in Bangkok and Pathum Thani will organise a range of innovative educational activities to mark National Children’s Day. As part of the “Kids Dee Kid’s Day Star Party With SCE”, Bangkok Planetarium commemorates its 60th anniversary by encouraging the next generation of astronauts with free 30-minute stargazing sessions led by experts.

During the day, young visitors can also have fun playing games like Tic-Tac-Toe, Moon To Mars, Balancing and 12 Zodiac Stars Throwing. Admission is free for children under the age of 18 and 50 baht for adults. Visit facebook.com/bkkplanetarium.

The Fine Arts Department is also hosting many interesting programmes at historical parks, national museums and the National Library of Thailand to educate young visitors about Thailand’s rich cultural heritage.
