Phetdarin Somrat was crowned champion of the Women’s Tour of Thailand 2022 in Mukdahan yesterday.
The Thailand Women’s Cycling Team rider finished the three-stage race with a total time of 7:48.17 hours.
“Thank you for all the support. We have done our best from the beginning until the end of the tournament. The win is a gift for the Thai people during the Songkran Festival,” said Phetdarin, who was also crowned the Best Queen of Mountain.
Phetdarin finished 31st in yesterday’s 83.30km final stage.
The Thai champion received the trophy graciously donated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Phetdarin is now looking forward to the upcoming SEA Games in Vietnam.
