25,456 new Covid cases, 77 more deaths

The country registered 77 more Covid-19 fatalities, a record high in the latest wave, and 25,456 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Thursday morning.

This compared with the 70 coronavirus-related fatalities and 23,945 new cases reported on Wednesday morning.

There were 25,417 local cases and 39 imported ones.
