24,635 new Covid cases, 81 more deaths

The country registered 81 more Covid-19 fatalities and 24,635 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Monday morning.

This compared with the 84 coronavirus-related fatalities and 25,821 new cases reported on Sunday morning.

There were 24,601 local cases and 34 imported ones.

On Sunday, 25,753 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus while 250,737 others were receiving treatment (down from 251,936 on the previous day).
