14 rail services resume Monday as virus curbs ease

SRT says services still suspended in some higher-risk areas

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) will resume 14 local train services, starting on Monday in line with the easing of Covid-19 prevention measures throughout most of the country.

The decision is a response to rising demand for train services after the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) began relaxing restrictions, the SRT public relations team said in a post on the agency’s Facebook page on Saturday.
