Sorry if this has been asked to death. I am moving to Bangkok in August. The two areas I am looking at living in are Ekkamai and On Nut; I will be working in Bang Kapi. What would be peoples recommendations between these areas, or any other area? Ideally I would like somewhere nice to walk around, with things to do on the weekend and decent transfer links. I don’t really want to spend more than 20,000 THB on rent for a one bed flat. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
