Hi All,
Am planning to arrange with my work (Based in UK) for me to work in Thailand. I’m planning to visit Thailand for 6 weeks, within that working for 4 weeks and 2 works I will be on annual leave.
I am currently in the process of becoming a Thai national through my dad as he is 100% Thai. Once I have my Thai citizenship (a trip in April to Thailand with annual leave) I will become dual national. British & Thai.
I assume I would be legally able to work in Thailand once I have a Thai citizenship? And to be able to work for a UK based company? Due to being also British?. however I’m a little confused in the tax side of things and how this would work would it be normal as how i would pay tax as if i was in the UK? Or would my work need to change how they process my tax?, not sure if this is the correct sub to ask this either.
