Im a dual citizen Sweden/Thai, 30yo. Born and raised in sweden, don’t even speak Thai.
About 5 years ago I went to thailand on vacation and got registered in the house book and got my Thai ID card.
Some time later, or maybe before I can’t remember tbh, I heard the military had been looking for me. My grandma had told them I live overseas.
About 2 years ago I got the Thai passport from the Thai embassy in sweden.
Now I’m thinking of traveling to thailand and staying longer, but I’m wondering if I might get fined or called into the military? And how would that process’s happen? Should I register anywhere to settle the score? I have no idea how the Thai bureaucracy works or what my responsibility is as a Thai citizen.
