Sawadee ka! (I’m still learning x.x)
As the title states, I will be looking for “Cold Weather” (High 10c/50f, possible low of -5c/23f) clothes come December when my boyfriend and I are in Chiang Mai for New Years.
After Chiang Mai, we are headed to Japan and will be staying in: Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya (with a possible day trip to Takayama), and Tokyo.
We have been traveling out of our backpacks for 8+ months in mostly warm, and humid areas. We do already have some wool socks, and rain gear we can layer, but I am hoping to find inexpensive wool base layers, perhaps waterproof shoes, and/or puffer jackets in the Chiang Mai area. I saw there was North Face outlet store, but wasnt sure exactly what the price difference would look like over there.
I’d prefer to shop somewhere local, but I also understand this may not be a normal market for these kinds of clothes.
