People ask for advice and are consistently downvoted or ignored. It’s very rare to get any helpful answers here. I understand that it’s annoying to constantly get questions about tourism- but that’s what the sub is for, visitors OR residents. I would imagine most people in this sub are expats, so it seems a little self important to be hating tourists. I am from Hawaii, am actually part Hawaiian, and am kind when tourists ask the same questions over and over again in Hawaii related subs, even when they wander into the subs for residents. I guess the spirit of Aloha is real? I just don’t understand the hate when someone asks where to get good Thai food. I can tell you that not all restaurants in Hawaii are created equally, and would be happy to send people to local spots to support family business. You could easily say to just wander into any simple looking establishment, it’s all home cooking. And that would suffice. Why all the hate?
Why is this sub rude?
