Who here works as a digital nomad?

Just curious about how you managed to find a job that allows you to work as a digital nomad? I currently work in government IT in Australia so I certainly can’t do that role overseas, but I certainly have transferable experience that I could bring to a new role/private company.

Just so I can get some ideas about how I might set my self up as a digital nomad, would you be able to share your own experiences? I doubt I have the acumen to set up my own business so I’d probably be relying on working for a company.

Ideally, once set up I wouldn’t be limited to Thailand Bangkok and could go wherever allowed me.
