Where to stay – Girls Trip

This question has probably been answered so many times – I’ve already seen alot of posts. But I’m finding the answers quite inconsistent. I read that Nai Harn Beach has night life, and is one of the nicest beaches but it seems quite secluded.

I’ve already been to Phuket before ( honestly. I’m only going back because my friend wants to go to Bangla Road lol) – I stayed at Karon and didn’t like it at all – very touristy on the main strip and not much local food.

It’s a girl’s trip with 3 girls – we want to be able to go out, but also want a relaxing holiday for the few days were there. Ideally, it would be accessible to nightlife, but also somewhere where we can relax during the day.

I was considering Kamala since it would be closer to Bangla Road initially but I read that it’s not very good anymore, and the beach isnt nice. Is this true?

Considering Kata, Kamala or Nai Harn! Any suggestions based on preferences?
