I came to chiang mai for the vibes , I.e. I appreciate the nature, lack of huge red light and party vibes. And diverse group of expats that live here.
Where do you go for the burning season that has similar vibes?
I hate to be rude specially since I was one of these people 12 years ago, but I really avoid anywhere with a party scene.
I don’t mind tourists and all that, specially since I can indulge in western food from time to time, etc
I just really want to avoid partiers and sexpats.
I also want to train muy Thai if possible even open to stay in fight camps.
I want to be around nature, good food, good vibes, not too rural, but a bit is ok, and focus on training and work.
If this place exists let me know! If I’m asking too much please be frank I know no perfect place exists. Just trying to get close to those chiang mai vibes for a few months.
