I’m doing a Master’s in Bangkok and will be renting a condo near the school (SWU). I have my own savings, but my family will be helping out with rent so they want to know every single detail about how things work, especially the living situation. I’m going for a condo (a small one since it’s just me, around 20-30 sqm, and around 10k – 14k THB) rather than an apartment so I expect I’ll be paying the government rate for electricity and not too much for water. I have found out most of everything they want to know but I still can’t find any info on *where* you go to pay utility bills. Do you get a bill in the mail and go to a certain place like a bank to pay it in person? Can you do an electronic transfer? Do you pay the owner directly? etc. I guess this also goes to how you pay rent (in person or online bank transfer?). And if anyone knows, what would be the government rate for electricity for a single person living in a small condo. Thanks!
Where do you go to pay electricity and water bills for a condo?
