My Husband and I are planning to go to Thailand for a year to learn the language and to be in different surroundings for a bit. We want to learn the language by ourselves instead of in a school. So I was wondering what visa would be the best to apply for? Is there a visa that can be for the entire year? And I heard someone say if we use tourist visa over an extended time like that , that it could make it difficult with entering in the future. I also wander if that’s true?
