I’ve been using Meetup a lot to meet new people in Bangkok. There are dozens of different themed Meetups everyday, so there’s always something going on that I can join.
Looking ahead to Chiang Mai, Meetup seems really bare, and it only has a small number of upcoming Meetups, mostly around very specific things like bitcoin or yoga.
So I was just wondering what the best way to get to know people in CM is.
I’ma digital nomad, so will be coming and staying by myself.
I’m not opposed to going to hostel bars or other bars by myself if I have to, but it’d be good to go to organised events where everyone has the intention of meeting new people.
Are there any good Facebook groups, or Reddit subs, or anything else for doing this?
