Renowned Hungarian pianist back in town

Hungarian pianist Adam Gyorgy will return to the Kingdom to perform a particularly challenging work with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra during “Hungarian Gala” at the Main Hall of Thailand Cultural Centre, Ratchadaphisek Road, on Friday at 7.30pm.

Presented by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation under the patronage of HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, the concert will start with Hungarian Sketches, a suite for orchestra by Hungarian composer Bela Bartok.

Gyorgy will then give a performance of Piano Concerto No.1 In E-Flat Major, a four-movement piece composed by Franz Liszt when he was only 19. The evening programme will conclude…
