Hi, I will probably be an expat by mid next year, so wanted to start prepping in the states while I am still here. Currently I have Capital One, Bank of America, Fidelity Cash Management Account, and Charles Schwab accounts opened.
I read on old posts that Citi Bank is the best since it allows for transfers from Thai Citi Bank to US Citi Bank without fees, but then I read that UOB bought or owns Thai Citi Bank or something. So would having a US Citi Bank have any advantages or is another US Bank better?
Thanks!
Edit: Any credit card tips are welcomed too!

– Dee Money for Thai to US transfer.
– Mint Mobile $15/month to keep US phone number for international OTP texts from banks and online services. 5GB of data for when in US.
