Hi there, will be going Phuket end of June to start of Jul for about 6 days. Staying in Kata area.
Saw on multiple threads and weather forecast sites that it is the monsoon season so there will be rain during this period.
Would like to seek some opinion from people who are actually based there. Was wondering how bad is the rain? Will it hamper a full day plan? Or does the rain comes and goes perhaps in an hour or so? Is preparation of umbrellas and raincoat necessary?
