So I paid 3500baht for private car to take me to Kanchaburi from Bangkok – with pictures of Kwai bridge, cemetary, museums and waterfalls. I was stupid – and didnt ask for details since I booked it in my hotel lobby, I figured hotel would not fuck around, its like a full thing with guide and everything. Guy mentioned lunch as well.
So they pick me up at 9:00, like we agreed, we go there, and driver just leaves me at the bridge and says “go walk”. I walk the bridge, go to museum near by, he then drives me to cemetary and Death Railway museum. So far so good, its 14:00, and I come back to the car, and driver says “go back hotel”. I say no, lets go to Erawan waterfall, and he says I had to buy a ticket for Erawan day before to be able to enter. That sounded like complete bullshit. After 2 minutes of silence, I just accept, go hotel. Now we are driving back to BKK
~~Am I simply being entitled for expecting to see Erawan falls because I paid (what I assume) is a lot of money? Or was I simply a stupid tourist who got taken for a ride?~~
