Students and alumni of Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok, Uthenthawai campus, marched to four locations in Bangkok today, to protest the planned relocation of their institute, from the grounds of Chulalongkorn University to a proposed site in Samut Prakan province.
The protesters first gathered at the campus, before marching and driving to the Property Management office of Chulalongkorn University to hand in a protest letter.
They then continued their mobile rally to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovations, the Office of Civil Service Commission and parliament. Similar protest letters are to be submitted to parliament and the ministry.
Uniformed and plainclothes metropolitan police officers were deployed to direct traffic and ensure order during the march.
