I have a Google Pixel 6 Pro which is a 5G phone, and it works on 5G with Vodafone in Australia. I’m in Thailand now and on True’s network and I can only get connection on 4G LTE, whereas my wife’s iPhone 13 connects on 5G. We both got eSIMs at the same time and are on the same plan.
I found this site where True said you can use a code “*555*1#” to check 5G compatibility and it reported that both my SIM and handset are 5G compatible. So, what could be the reason? Is the 5G spectrum on True not compatible with the 5G chip in my phone?
