Outbreaks of thundershowers with gusty winds and hail are forecast for the North, the Northeast, the Central region including Bangkok and the East from Sunday, the Thai Meteorological Department announced in its 5am forecast.
The department said the westerly trough has moved through the North and the upper Northeast while a high pressure area has covered the Northeast.
At the same time, southerly and southeasterly winds have brought precipitation from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to the upper part of the country.
