This Morning’s Josie Gibson unveils tattoo blunder from boozy Thailand trip

This Morning star Josie Gibson has revealed an unfortunate spelling mistake in a tattoo she received when on holiday in Thailand.

While discussing Only Murders in the Building star Cara Delevingne’s apparent tattoo blunder on the show, which saw part of the model and actress’s recent ink read ‘walking’ instead of ‘waking’, Gibson revealed her own blunder.

She told Holly Willoughby and Tom Swarbrick that her finger tattoo read ‘ssh’ in Thai writing instead of ‘shh’ after getting the work done following a “bucket” of alcohol.

Recalling the tale, she began: “So, basically I went to Thailand and out in Thailand they drink buckets of alcohol. So I had a bucket of alcohol and spelt shh wrong. So I’ve actually got ssh written down my finger.”

“Do you know what’s even worse?” Willoughby replied, laughing. “If it doesn’t [say that] and now anybody who is actually reading that [sees] it actually says something even ruder.”

“When did you find out that it said ssh, at what stage?” Swarbrick questioned her on the realisation.

“Well shush is S H H isn’t it,” Gibson said. “So I got S S H which I can only think says ‘sah’.”

Earlier this month, Gibson gave an update on her current relationship status, revealing she was single.

“I’m quite old-fashioned and I’m cautious about who I bring into my son’s life, because I want to protect him,” she told OK!.

After talking about the breakdown of her last relationship, Gibson said: “You’ve got to be careful that people are with you for the right reasons. So the only man in my life is my [son] Reggie.”

This Morning airs on weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
