The list of 17 Thai public companies is listed in the “GLOBAL 2000” list of Forbes magazine.

The 20th edition of the Forbes magazine’s 2023 list of the world’s best public companies finds that among the top 10 is led by JPMorgan, the largest US bank with $3.7 trillion in assets. ranked No. 1 for the first time since 2011

Second place is followed by Saudi energy giant Saudi Aramco. and three Chinese state-owned banks, led by ICBC, as well as US tech giants Alphabet (7th), Microsoft (9th) and Apple (10th).

The GLOBAL 2000 is a ranking of 2,000 large listed companies from global stock exchanges. Companies from 58 countries made the list with 611 companies from the United States, followed by China with 356 companies.

There are 4 criteria used in selection: revenue, profit, assets and market value. Use the latest 12-month financial data, taken from May 5, 2023, to calculate the ranking. The reference currency is the US dollar.

For Thai companies that have entered the Global 2000 list for the year 2023, all 17 companies are ranked as follows.
