Celebrations with family are always a respite from the busy lives that we all lead. Certain occasions and milestones make it even more special. Penning a gratitude note, former actor Dimpy Ganguly Roy wrote how Thailand’s Ko Samui island was an adventure for her and her family who were there to celebrate her youngest son’s first birthday.
“The past 10 days have been the most memorable days of our lives. This island has this magic, in the tranquility, the slow life, in the weather, in the food, in the smiles and kindness of its people…a big thanks to our friend @max_____groulard for the best recommendations for places to visit, it made our trip even more worthwhile and enjoyable,” said Dimpy.
She continued, “This trip was dedicated to our littlest Ganguly-Roy and celebrating his 1st birthday but I think it’s safe to say we all had a blast! Until next time…koh samui u have a piece of our heart.”
Previously too, she shared a few pictures from her vacation.
“The things best sunsets are made of,” said Dimpy, who is also mother to Reanna and Aryaan.
Dimpy also spoke about how her third baby’s birth (who is yet to be named) is a “bittersweet” experience. “Everything about the last baby is so bittersweet because all of his firsts are also your last. I find myself obsessing over if I’m present enough. Taking him in. Will I remember this. Is it going too fast? So beautiful to watch him grow but it stings a bit, this last time. He is so curious and always on the move. I love his gummy smiles and his intense eye contact with anyone. He has a strong opinion about who he likes and what he wants,” said Dimpy.
She continued, “Every bit our determined 3rd baby and true to his zodiac sign. 12 whole months with my Rishu shona.. the last Ganguly-Roy puzzle piece. My surprise baby.”
Dimpy married Dubai-based businessman Rohit Roy in 2015.
