The Tourism Authority of Thailand promoted overland travel and bullet trains for Chinese tourists to visit the Isan region at the China International Travel Mart.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) participated in the China International Travel Mart (CITM) 2023 to promote overland travel via caravan and the Kunming-Vientiane bullet trains for Chinese tourists to explore the Northeastern or ‘Isan’ region of Thailand. The event presented a great opportunity for Thai sellers to strengthen business with their Chinese partners. The CITM 2023 also highlighted the fact that Chinese tourists can visit Thailand without a visa until the end of February 2024.
