Thailand is placing a big bet that the growth of global wellness tourism will have a positive impact on inbound traveler numbers in the coming years. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently announced its latest campaign to help develop wellness and health based tourism within the country’s borders: “Amazing Thailand Health and Wellness Tourism New Chapters New Experience”.
Unveiled by Apichai Chatchalermkit, the Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business, the project aims to improve the potential for Thai products and services to stand out in the competitive global market for wellness products and travel options.
