Thailand is set to bring in US$44 billion once it reopens in November

With various countries announcing the gradual reopening of their borders to foreign tourism, it only makes sense that people have begun planning their next vacation.

Now that Thailand has announced the reopening of five more key tourist destinations on November 1, 2021 (including Bangkok), authorities are predicting a new wave of tourism revenue set to reach up to US$44.4 billion, or 1.5 trillion Baht for 2022.

Finally back in business.

The places set for reopening include Bangkok, along with nine other districts spanning four different provinces – Muang, Mae Rim, Mae Taeng, and Doi Tao districts (Chiang Mai), Hua Hin district (Prachuap Khiri Khan), Cha-am district (Phetchaburi), along with Pattaya, Bang Lamung, and Sattahip districts (Chon Buri).
