I have already been to immigration to do all the paperwork for my Thai wife visa renewal, I have also just today had a visit from the immigration checking where I live and taken photos, doing the paperwork. My current visa is going to expire on the 28th November but I am not going to make it back before then, also the stamp I have for the new paperwork being processed says I should go back to immigration to hear the results on the 6th December.
I have now found out a family member of mine abroad back in my home country is very sick and I need to travel back to my home country however my Thai Wife visa isn’t completed as I need to the stamp approval once they have finished with all the paperwork. Also once I have the stamp I will need to get a multi entry visa.
Anyone else had a visa renewal processing and needed to leave the country? What are my options for retaining my visa and being able to come back to Thailand with no problems?
