Thai teen Ratchanon eager for win at AAC

Teenage prodigy Ratchanon “TK” Chantananuwat aims to win the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) which tees off today at Amata Spring Country Club in Chon Buri.

The 15-year-old is one of 10 Thais and the highest-ranked player in the field at No.12 in the world.

The winner will earn berths at next year’s Masters and British Open and Ratchanon said he wants to play in the two major championships.

“Playing in the Masters and the [British] Open would be a dream come true for me,” said Ratchanon.
