Thai PM sends condolences to bereaved families in Pakistan over deadly explosions

According to media reports, two suicide bombings killed more than 50 people and injured dozens of others.

“I am deeply saddened to learn about the tragic explosion and the loss of lives in Mastung City, Pakistan, on September 29. Deepest sympathies and condolences to the government of Pakistan, her people, and bereaved families,” he wrote on his social media account.

According to media reports, suicide bombings at two religious ceremonies in Pakistan killed at least 56 people and injured dozens more on Friday, as worshippers marked the birthday of Prophet Mohammad.

CNN quoted local police as saying that at least 52 people were killed and 50 others wounded by an explosion at a religious procession in southwestern Balochistan province’s Mastung district.
