No serious side effects reported among kids 5-11

Children aged five to 11 with underlying health conditions who were vaccinated against Covid-19 showed no serious side effects, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Tuesday.

The Public Health Ministry began providing the first round of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine to children aged five to 11 at the Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health in Bangkok on Monday, Mr Anutin said.

The first group of vaccinated children had seven underlying health conditions, said the minister.
