Dechapol, Sapsiree edge Chinese rivals in marathon semi-final

Mixed doubles stars Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai moved into the final of the US$850,000 BWF Japan Open in Tokyo yesterday.
The second-seeded Thai pair defeated fourth seeds Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping of China 21-10, 19-21, 21-19 in 72 minutes to make it to the final of the BWF World Tour Super 750 event.
They will play third seeds Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino of Japan in the title decider.
The Japanese pair upset top seeds Zheng Siwei and Haung Yaqiong of China 21-18, 21-17 in the second semi-final.
