Thai Child Dependent Visa (Non-immigrant O)

Can you stay in Thailand on a Thai Child Dependent Visa (Non-immigrant O) if your child is an adult? I’ve been looking and it says nothing about your son/daughter being a particular age but in the visa requirements it says that you need such things as a photo of the person with them at school and proof of their enrolment. He’s getting a divorce soon and fears getting deported so looking into options to stay in Thailand.
