Thai B1/B2 visa to US?

I hear it is pretty much impossible for a Thai lady to get a visa to the US. Anybody have an experience with this? My GF has a visa interview in early December. She has limited travel history (neighboring SEA countries), land in her name, same job for over 5 years, and more than 300K BHT in her bank account. I’ve written a sponsorship letter for her and have procured a round trip (refundable) ticket for her, which may help in showing that she is going to return…or may hurt her chances (???). Lastly, I assume visa interviews in Bangkok are the same as in Chang Mai…or is one better than the other? Anyway….just wanted to see what others have experienced. Thanks.
