Tangmo: Panel to verify 2nd autopsy details, includes ‘punk rock auntie’ Pornthip

A panel of forensic experts has been assembled by the Ministry of Justice to verify the autopsy details of Thai actress Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong, ahead of today’s re-examination of her remains, as the investigation into her death marks three weeks.

The second autopsy is being conducted at the request of Tangmo’s mother, after her lawyer submitted a request for re-examination to the ministry’s Central Institute of Forensic Medicine last Saturday, hoping to dispel any doubts about what really happened to the actress. Details to be examined include the deep wound on her thigh, a burn mark on her chest, and the state of her head and teeth.
