T-pop and J-pop groups to storm the capital

In only 10 days, a myriad of T-pop and J-pop groups will storm the Bangkok stage during the “Thai-Japan Iconic Music Fest 2022”, which will take place at the River Park and Charoen Nakhon Hall of Iconsiam, from Oct 21 to 23.

Organised by G-Yu Creative, the three-day festival is to celebrate the 135th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Thailand and to mark 10 years of cultural exchange promoted through the two countries’ soft power in music and various forms of entertainment.

Promised to bring the biggest gathering of J-pop and T-pop groups in Thailand, the festival will see almost 30 acts flown in from Japan led by big names such as Yuya Tegoshi, a former member of Japanese boy band News; and singer Shigeru Matsuzaki.
