Staying in Sukhumvit area from August 29 – September 1. Some questions

Hello guys,

I just renewed my passport a few months ago and I want my first international travel since 2010 to another country to be Bangkok, Thailand. During the my stay I want to visit at least 2-3 historic sites like the Grand Palace. I also want to visit the highest point of Bangkok like the Baiyoke, and the other tall building which I forgot lol. I’ll be arriving on Tuesday 6 pm and leaving on Friday 12 noon. I’ll be staying at the Aira Hotel in Sukhumvit.

1.) From the airport, what sim card do you recommend? And do I get a mobile wifi or a sim card?

2.) According to hotel staff, going from the airport to the hotel will cost like 400 baht, is this good? Do I need to ride the bus or train?

3.) I use Grab often here in my own country, is it widely used for Food and Transportation? or do I need to use Klook?

4.) What tourist spots do you recommend aside from the Grand Palace? How about Jim Thompsons?

5.) Is there an all-day pass I can use to ride the trains? Or if I don’t ride the trains and use Tuktuks or Taxis and just stay around 7km within Bangkok.

6.) I want a good nightlife or clubbing experience, friendly to foreigners and safe incase I go home drunk lol. What’s a good area I should check out?

7.) I also want to try at least the 2 best restaurants in Bangkok, what do you recommend?

Thanks!
