Former My Kitchen Rules couple open up about devastating loss of daughter

Reality is sinking in for a former My Kitchen Rules couple as they return home from a trip to Thailand in a bid to deal with the devastating loss of their daughter Poppy.

On February 16, Carly Saunders and Tresne Middleton – who appeared on MKR in 2014 – shared the gut-wrenching news that 20-month-old Poppy Grace had died after battling a rare form of Leukaemia.

The pair posted a photo to their Instagram with the caption: “This morning we lost our precious baby Poppy Grace. True to form she fought tooth and nail until her final breath.”

In dealing with the grief, Saunders and Middleton decided to head to Thailand.

On Wednesday, upon their return home, the couple shared a post to their 38.1K Instagram followers with a brief montage of their time in the Southeast Asian country.
