Spreading Italian love

To mark the centennial of Italian writer Gianni Rodari’s birth, the Italian embassy and Bangkok International Artists Guild present “Ciao”, a project of child performances, readings and live music, at KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha Theatre, 7th floor of Siam Square One, Rama I Road, on Dec 17-18 at 4pm.

Aiming to send messages of peace and love to all around us, the project is inspired by Twenty Stories Plus One (Venti Storie Più Una), an amazing collection of stories full of lovely kings, smiling princesses and wizards. It’s a book of love first, a hymn to life, a continuous dream to be in a better world.

The evening will open with remarks by HE Italian Ambassador Lorenzo Galanti, followed by a speech by Prof Sandro Calvani, former director of the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI).
