Love wine, but prefer sipping it with some spicy and pungent dishes? A nose-to-tail Ekkamai diner will bring together a culinary odd couple later this month of Isaan-style tapas with selected amber wines.
Don’t miss the one-off collaboration at 100 Mahaseth Ekkamai where owner and chef Chalee Kader will serve tapas versions of northeastern classics alongside a selection of amber wines (skin-fermented white wine, it is) curated by Kim Wachtveitl, owner of local vino supplier Wine Garage.
The 11-serving course, at THB1,300 per person, will feature some of the joint’s best hits like roasted bone marrow with perilla seeds; a visually pleasing pineapple delicately seasoned in pla raa (fermented fish) and served with flash-cooked cockles; and termite mushrooms with eggs.
