Protests to hit three parts of Bangkok today. Here’s where to find or avoid them.

Protesters will target the media, misuse of taxpayer money and police brutality at three Bangkok venues today: two in the heart of the city and one in the southeastern outskirts.

At 4pm, a rally will be held in front of Nation Multimedia Group in the Bang Na district to call out what protesters say are the media conglomerate’s unethical practices and pro-establishment bent. The pro-democracy movement has accused Nation of intentionally distorting its news reports to portray them as enemies of the people. Nation has previously been targeted by calls to boycott its advertisers.

At 5pm, a street art exhibition and fashion show is expected to take over Silom Road outside the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, aka Wat Khaek, to protest the use of THB13 million (US$416,000) in public funds for a royalty-linked fashion show.
