Hello folks I just moved to Bangkok a month ago. Everything has been great pretty much and Thailand seems much more safer than America. But lately I keep reading about an election I think this weekend and people protesting. I even heard the words coup d’etat basically the military taking over leadership. Someone even told me this has happened before and it’s no big deal. From what I read in this Reddit group it seems to be a great deal of knowledge being passed along. So I wanted to ask is there any truth to the military taking leadership and should I be worried? Would appreciate any knowledge of this being passed along. Sorry I am so green on this topic.
Should I be worried about this election as a farang?
