Shipping Used Laptop USA to Thailand?

I’m interested in shipping my used laptop from USA to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Current value of the laptop is approx $750 or 25k THB. There is no speed urgency as long as it’s received in less than ~1 month.

Unfortunately i don’t have any close friends or relatives that will be making the trip here anytime soon.

I looked through recent reports here and have seen mixed suggestions. Seems like below are my best options any i’m open to any advice and feedback

– Use USPS or DHL. Write down a low value for customs purposes?
– Don’t even bother shipping because of unavoidable high customs fee
– Fedex and UPS but more expensive shipping, heard of customs issues and rejection due to battery

Also, anybody know what to expect in terms of an all-in cost for the shipment incl. customs?
