Serbia and Brazil will face off in the semi-finals of the women’s Volleyball Nations League 2022 tomorrow in Ankara, Turkey.
Serbia edged out three-time defending champions United States 3-2 (29-27, 25-23, 20-25, 20-25, 15-13) in the quarter-finals at Ankara Sport Hall on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, Brazil, who were runners-up to the Americans in the 2021 VNL, were the first team to progress to the last four after they defeated Japan 3-1 (29-27, 28-26, 20-25, 25-14).
The winners of tomorrow’s semi-finals between Serbia and Brazil will progress to Sunday’s final.
