Sathorn vs Thonglor

My family and I are debating between these two areas to live in. We’ve heard good things about both. We have a toddler and a dog. Which one do people here consider to be the better area to live in with a family?

Edit: I guess I should clarify that me and wife work remotely so we won’t be commuting. Schooling is definitely a factor! We want our daughter to attend top international schools and that’s how I narrowed down the two areas
