Police today are investigating two suspects in the non-fatal shooting of six protesters outside the Parliament.
Investigators are looking for a man seen aiming a gun in video filmed at Tuesday’s rally as they continue to question a second man arrested on the scene with a gun.
The latest suspect was filmed wearing a pink coat and brandishing a weapon on Thahan Road at the Kiak Kai intersection, according to deputy metro police chief Piya Tawichai.
Although Piya said he suspects the man was a guard associated with the protesters who clashed for hours with police, several clips show a man in pink marching among yellow-shirted royalists. It is unclear whether they are the same man.
The other suspect was a royalist counter-protester, Kasidit Leelamuktanun, who was taken into custody Tuesday night on the scene.
