Robinhood to hike delivery fees starting tomorrow

A three-year-old food delivery service backed by a major bank announced it will raise its delivery fees starting tomorrow. 

Robinhood – not to be confused with the California crypto-trading platform – announced yesterday that it will increase fees for food deliveries to a minimum of THB20 per order. 

That’s THB5 up from the current minimum order fee of THB15. The price hike will be effective Wednesday.

A subsidiary of Siam Commercial Bank, Robinhood launched during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 as a food delivery service. It joined an overcrowded market already contested in Bangkok by the likes of Grab, Foodpanda, and Line Man.
