Been reading today about the awful crash that happened in chiang Mai and it’s scared me for my upcoming trip in January.
Bangkok – 3 days
Chiang Mai – 4 days
Krabi – 4 days
Phi phi – 3 days
Phuket 2 days
Koh samui – 5 days
4 internal flights booked and taking ferry’s too between each place without an airport too
Now my concern is, iv been reading about taxi drivers falling asleep at the wheel, including the taxi drivers that the hotel organised, or how they drive dangerously fast and I’m wondering how I can we avoid this? We won’t be hiring a motorcycle at all.
How do we book a private driver? Is it rude to tell the driver to slow down if I feel unsafe?
I’m already pretty nervous about going (my first long haul holiday, and the longest time I’ll be away from home)
